Their fate is sealed. CEXs have to work hard to justify their value. Now there is Uniswap, sushiswap, pancakeswap, and like 100 other DEXs. The saving grace was CEXs don’t incur gas fees. But soon L2s and competing L1s are going to solve this problem. If trading on uniswap costs 10 cents a trade instead of 50 dollars as it does now, who would use CEXs?
